Robbie will play Sharon Tate in the star-studded drama that is set against the backdrop of the Manson family murders.

Margot Robbie has teased the first image of herself in character as the murdered actress Sharon Tate from the upcoming Quentin Tarantino movie Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

Robbie took to Instagram to share the first official photo of her a dressed in a black long-sleeved turtleneck, a white skirt and white leather boots. Tate, the wife of director Roman Polanski, was pregnant when she was killed at the hands of Charles Manson's followers at her home in 1969.

While the late actress' family members weren't always keen on the film, given the tragic circumstances, her sister Debra Tate recently gave Tarantino their blessing after the director approached her about the project.

DiCaprio also posted a "first look" image of himself and Pitt in character back in June.
