As if the leaked photos were not already enough, a video has also surfaced of the Pixel 3 XL being unboxed.

While there have been plenty of renders and images that reportedly show the forthcoming Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL smartphones, few are as detailed as the latest batch to hit the 'net. While these aren't the first leaked photos of the device, they're the first to feature the device running Android and in its packaging.

There is also some information on the launch of the Google Pixel 3 and the premier Pixel 3XL. A bonus shot reveals "Pixel Bud-esque wired USB-C earbuds" that come packaged with the phone.

According to screenshots, this is the Google Pixel 3 XL, and it runs an Adreno 630 GPU in a Qualcomm Snapdragon system-on-chip.

A huge Pixel 3 XL leak hit the Web today, thanks to the Telegram channel Канал Лучкова. The leaked device was remotely erased, so we didn't really get to see much of the software, or how Android Pie looks on this thing. The display - no size listed - has a resolution of 1440×2960 (shakes fist at notch) with a pixel density of 494pixels per inch.

Google has done away with the chunky bezel at the top of the screen for the Pixel 3 XL, but it has replaced it with a rather large notch that takes a sizable chunk out of the display.

The back shows the usual single camera setup and fingerprint reader. It does indeed appear to be quite noticeable, especially with a white background. The Pixel design team is keeping a chin on the bottom which means the dual speakers are still here. There is a mint green power button on this Pixel 3 XL as well, which differs from the orange button on the two-tone Pixel 2 XL.
