On Thursday night, Kanye West served as a special guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live, where he once again spoke about his support of President Donald Trump, saying he didn't like being "forced" to pick his candidate.

At the end of their discussion, Kanye told Kimmel that approaching the president with love will help fix America's problems, saying, "When I see people just even, like, go at the president, it's like, why not try love?" So honored by this.

"It's amusing, in this world that we live in, there's two main motivating forces - and I tweet about it all the time - it's love or fear, and you can't explain love", Kanye answered. "It is making a big difference", he wrote.

The rapper, who once famously claimed that George W. Bush didn't "care about black people", caused anger and confusion in his fan base when he stated just after the election that he would have voted for Trump. He said nothing, and to cut the awkwardness, the show went to commercial. West gave his thoughts on music and fashion, his wife Kim Kardashian's trip to Washington, D.C., to meet with President Donald Trump, the two most significant motivating forces in the world, and overcoming fear.

Kimmel: People got really mad, well, some people were very happy when you said you liked President Trump.

His thoughts also touched on Galileo being an iconoclast and meandered to "I've never heard of a class that breaks down how you balance a checkbook", and about how people are all "unpaid actors in some giant script that we didn't write".

West also touched upon his previously filmed interview with TMZ, in which he asserted that slavery was "a choice", which rightfully sparked furious criticism.
