The eleventh season will also be the first with Jodie Whittaker as the Doctor. But finally, the BBC has announced that Season 11 of Doctor Who, which will open with the episode "The Woman Who Fell to Earth", will launch at the same time in the United Kingdom and USA on Sunday, October 7.

America has announced that Jodie Whittaker's inaugural season (aka Season 11) will debut on Sunday, Oct. 7.

The first episode is going to be titled "The Woman Who Fell To Earth". The Thirteenth Doctor will have a permanent home on Sunday nights for season 11, which marks the first time in the history of the show that an entire season will air on Sundays.

Chibnall said, "New Doctor, new home".

'Get everybody's homework done, sort out your Monday clothes, then grab some special Sunday night popcorn, and settle down with all of the family for Sunday night adventures across space and time'.
