Maroon 5 will be the performer during the Pepsi Halftime Show at Super Bowl LIII, Variety's Jem Aswad and Shurley Halperin reported Wednesday, citing two sources. Along with "Moves Like Jagger", they have also penned "Love Somebody", "Sugar", "Payphone" and "Animals".
The band has collaborated with a number of incredible artists over the years, most recently Cardi B on the hit song "Girls Like You". This follows an early report from Us Weekly, where a source told the publication the "offer has been extended and they've pretty much accepted".
The band did not respond immediately to Rolling Stone for comment, although several reports confirm Maroon 5 is on lock for the big game.
Maroon 5 will join the pantheon of Super Bowl halftime show performers.
