As of Wednesday, the world's largest burger chain the changes have been applied to their: hamburger, cheeseburger, double cheeseburger, McDouble, Quarter Pounder with Cheese, double Quarter Pound with Cheese and Big Mac.

"We've been on a journey to remove artificial colours, flavours and preservatives from some of our ingredients, all while continuing to deliver great tasting food people trust", says a statement from McDonald's Canada. According to the company, almost two-thirds of all burgers and sandwiches have cut artificial ingredients (as long as customers hold the pickle, which has yet to make the change).
