Eight-time Olympic champion Bolt - who is on trial with Central Coast Mariners - is desperate to secure a professional contract with the Australian side.

The 32-year-old took to Instagram to post a video clip of his first goal with the words "Dreams become Reality through hard work", and added photos of his goal celebration afterwards while saying "Anything is possible, don't think limits" and "New Levels @CCMariners". "I'm keen to be a Mariner, and get into the team".

"The best thing about Usain Bolt is he's so humble", McCormack said.

Judging by his previous appearances in Soccer Aid, as well as Borussia Dortmund training, we're guessing that Bolt would be given a Bronze, 62-rated ST card respectively.

His second came 12 minutes later when he showed a striker's instinct and took advantage of a terrible mix-up between defender and goalkeeper to tap in from a couple of yards out.

He struggled to find his touch in the first half, but marginally improved in the second.

"From my first day, the transformation is huge", McCormack said.

The A-League season begins next weekend, with Central Coast away to Brisbane Roar on the Sunday.

Incredibly, Bolt netted as many goals during the 75 minutes he was on the pitch as the passes he completed.

After Friday's game Bolt said that he hoped to sit down with Mariners' management to sort out his future.

Again sporting the No 95 shirt - a reference to his world record time over 100m - and playing up front, Bolt started a match for the first time, following on from his 20-minute cameo off the bench for the Mariners over a month ago.
