Long opened fire inside Borderline about 11:20 p.m., during the bar's "college country night" event, authorities said.

The niece of Tamera Mowry and Adam Housley has been confirmed as one of the victims killed in Wednesday night's shooting at Borderline Bar and Grill in California.

Tamera and Adam were alerted about Alaina's disappearance through a tweet posted by the young girl's suitemate, Ashley. "Can you please DM me your information?" the host wrote back. The exchange is pretty heartbreaking.

Adam Housely indicated that he has a awful feeling in his stomach because Alaina Housley's Apple watch and iPhone puts her location at the nightclub, but they have yet to hear from her, the Los Angeles Times reports.

"Housley said two of Alaina's suitemates jumped through a broken window to escape and are at a hospital with major glass wounds".

"We haven't found her yet", Mowry-Housley wrote prior to learning her niece had died.

Adam has since taken to Twitter to ask his followers for prayers for his niece, who he described as "a handsome soul".

Tragedy has struck close to home for actress Tamera Mowry-Housley.

Adam Housely searched for his niece Thursday morning at the Los Robles Regional Medical Center, where some shooting victims were being treated, according to Los Angeles Times reporter Andrea Castillo.

The publication also reported that Alaina's Apple Watch and iPhone both indicated that her location was still on the dance floor at the site of the shooting.

A suitemate of the couple's niece, Alaina Housely, went on Twitter to say her friend was missing and offered a description of what she was wearing.

"My gut is saying she's inside the bar, dead", he told the LA Times. "I'm hoping I'm wrong".

Mowry-Housley's twin sister and former co-star, Tia Mowry, also sought information through social media posts early in the day.

EW has reached out to a representative for Mowry-Housley for comment. "We love u! If you know anything of any information please let us know".
