The question you may be asking yourself right about now is what makes the LG Xboom AI ThinQ model WK9 (full name, no joke) worth around 100 bucks more than the soon-to-be-discounted Google Home Hub. Having partnered with Meridian Audio for the gadget to equip the WK9 with stereo 20W speakers; LG promises its users "crystal clear audio" as part of its package. The company will launch home appliances and furniture under the brand.

Here we have a smart display with an 8-inch touchscreen which is flanked by a pair of speakers that have a 2 channel/20W output. "Unlike other AI speakers where sound quality takes a back seat to the brain, the WK9 is first and foremost a high fidelity audio product that also happens to be intelligent".
