It's been almost three months since the first Captain Marvel trailer dropped, near breaking the internet in the process.

By the time Avengers 4 releases, the Russos will have spent nearly seven years straight in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and so it's understandable that they'd be looking to branch out for the next movie - and with the combined box office we can expect from their four Marvel movies, they'll surely have their pick of projects.

The poster for Captain Marvel has arrived! The second trailer is expected to showcase further what she can do and how she fights.

Captain Marvel is here, and she's frickin' huge!

While Captain Marvel will be the MCU's first female-lead superhero movie, it will also be the first to have a female director and a number of female writers. You'd think a company with it roots in an art-based medium would be able to employ better poster artists, but I guess that's too much to ask for. And you can see it soon!

In addition to this spectacular new poster, Marvel Studios announced that the new trailer for Captain Marvel will debut at halftime during the Washington Redskins and Philadelphia Eagles game on ESPN's Monday Night Football on December 3.

In addition to this poster and the impending Captain Marvel trailer, there's a rumor floating around that the long-awaited Avengers 4 trailer is going to drop this week as well.
