Peskov rejected Kiev's claim that Russian Federation was blocking traffic to and from Ukrainian ports on the Sea of Azov, saying that navigation has continued normally except for occasional breaks because of bad weather.
Putin said at the summit that there's been no discussion with Ukraine about releasing the sailors or the ships.

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said on Saturday his country had stepped up security at vital infrastructure sites such as nuclear power stations and Black Sea ports in the face of what he called a Russian test of the world order.
The Kremlin said Mr Poroshenko's latest announcement is an "absurd" attempt to inflame tensions.
Ukraine has introduced martial law in parts of the country for 30 days, and Poroshenko said on Saturday military reservists in those areas would practice mobilizing and that military factories would be changing the way they worked too.
Amid the tensions, the Russian military said its forces in occupied Crimea were conducting drills involving Bal and Bastion long-range anti-ship missile systems.
"NATO has already increased our presence in the Black Sea - significantly more days with North Atlantic Treaty Organisation ships at sea this year than last year, and we have more air policing... more presences in the Black Sea in general", Stoltenberg told reporters.
He added that North Atlantic Treaty Organisation allies have helped modernize Ukraine's armed forces, have boosted their presence in the Black Sea over the past year, with more ships deployed in the region and more air policing.
On November 25, Russia blocked three Russian navy ships from passing from the Black Sea to the Sea of Azov near the Crimean peninsula by passing through the strait.
In the November 25 incident, three Ukrainian naval vessels were heading from the Black Sea into the Sea of Azov when they were blocked by the Russian coast guard near the Kerch Strait between Russia's mainland and Crimea.
The armed forces are also planning military exercises in two regions near Crimea, which Moscow annexed after protests forced out a Russia-friendly government in Kiev in 2014.
"In the waters of the Black Sea, Sea of Azov, and Aegean Sea, more than 80 ships and 8 submarines are on patrol - including 23 combat vessels and 6 submarines", he declared.
