Flight attendant working on Christmas joined by father on every flight

So her father, Hal Vaughan, used his airline benefits to snag tickets on the flights she was working to spend the holiday with her zipping across the country.

Hal's daughter Pierce couldn't believe it when she saw her dad on her flight.

The side-by-side pictures of Hal and Pierce Vaughn came courtesy of Mike Levy, a first-class passenger who snapped a selfie with dad and took a picture of his flight attendant.

Hal Vaughan might just be a candidate for Father of The Year after his epic gesture to ensure his daughter wasn't alone across Christmas.

"I will certainly never forget my first Christmas as a flight attendant and am so, so fortunate that everything went so flawlessly", Pierce Vaughan said. Daughter Pierce is overwhelmed by the positive reactions from all over the world: "Those wonderful first class passenger has made us understand how great the Whole thing is", she thanked Mike Levy.

In a statement to NBC Chicago, Delta Airlines praised both father and daughter for their decision to spend time together during the holiday - and the hard work they put in to make it happen.

"This was his first trip since the accident". "Wish you both a very Merry Christmas!", Mike Levy wrote on Facebook. "Hal decided he would spend the holiday with her".

Hal's daughter shared Levy's post and said that her father had made it onto every flight.

She added that there was even a "Christmas miracle" which saw Mr Vaughan being bumped up to first class on one of his flights.
