Timothy Weah says he is "in love" with Celtic after joining on loan from Paris Saint-Germain.

The 18-year-old is the son of former PSG & AC Milan great George Weah and has already broken into the PSG first team with six appearances and scored twice - while picking up eight caps for the United States International side.

Weah, who joined the PSG academy in 2014, has had limited opportunities in the first team, making just two league appearances this season and none since August 18.

Weah, the son of legend George Weah, has largely been deployed as a wide player with both PSG and the USA national team but, under Brendan Rodgers, the forward is expecting to be played centrally. With the quality of players they have, it's hard for him to get in and get any game-time.

He has been in demand due to his form in Slovakia, and Parma and Rapid Vienna have been linked with the forward, before Celtic announced they had won the race to sign him.

Celtic have signed Ivory Coast striker Vakoun Issouf Bayo, on a four-year deal from Slovakian side Dunajska Streda.

Rodgers, who has also signed West Bromwich Albion (WBA) winger Oliver Burke on loan for the rest of the season, is delighted to have snapped up Weah and believes he has plenty to offer.
