Following the player's underwhelming loan spell with the La Liga outfit, a decision was made on Thursday to terminate the deal and bring Batshuayi's short stay at the club to an end.

After becoming a maligned figure last season, the striker was loaned to Borussia Dortmund in January where he scored nine goals in 14 appearances.

Michy Batshuayi is set to return to Chelsea after Spanish club Valencia chose to terminate his loan spell.

Alemany said on marca.com: "Batshuayi's situation is very clear".

With Everton now sitting 11th in the Premier League, manager Marco Silva may look towards the Chelsea outcast for some more firepower to help the Toffees towards a strong finish to the campaign. "We are negotiating the player's exit with various other clubs", Alemany noted.

However, it appears unlikely that the 25-year-old will remain with the Blues - despite their own frontline concerns - and according to France Football, Monaco are keen to add Batshuayi to their squad.

But Chelsea should scrap any plans to offload the Belgium worldwide and give him an unexcited opportunity with them for the second half of the season.
