Emery urges Arsenal to improve away form amid criticism

Unai Emery believes Arsenal's major problem on their travels has been inside the minds of his players.

A 2-1 win at Bournemouth on November 25 was the last time Emery's side took three points on the road, but Huddersfield looks the flawless opponents after losing 11 of their past 12 league games.

Sol Campbell was a key member of the Arsenal Invincibles after they went through the 2003/04 Premier League season without a single defeat.

"One month ago we were in the same situation. We need to be confident and take more confidence and continue working".

"We can have better balance [in performances] when we prepare by thinking it's going to be very hard", Emery said. They have good players, good organisation.

The same article states that Emery has been informed of his summer budget and the Arsenal manager is still hoping to bring in three new players.

"Imposing ourselves from the first minute, and throughout the 90 minutes, our capacity against them - but first is the mentality". It's to think this match will be very hard.

Garry Ringrose and Devin Toner have both been ruled out of this weekend's Guinness Six Nations game against Scotland. The Ireland management team remain hopeful that Leinster second-row Toner will be fit to face the Scots this weekend.

"For us, tactically, is the second issue. The first is to think we need to win and after that it's how we can win - preparing tactically and individually".

Emery admitted he is his own biggest critic as he spoke at a news conference on Thursday, but remained confident his team can return to winning ways against Huddersfield, who are bottom of the Premier League and have won just two matches all season. He reported that Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Henrikh Mkhitaryan were back in contention after knee and foot injuries while Laurent Koscielny and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang had been ill but should be available.

And now football pundit Gary Neville has given the probable reason as to why the Gunners did not sign a defender at the start of 2019.

"But obviously to get to the next level, it's a big task".

'Then he can show in the next matches how he can help us, better than in the first match against Manchester City'.

"Today he is working with different adaptation and better than last week". I want to do the same on Saturday against Huddersfield.

"We know that defensively we need to do better. If we can not, it's different".
