Today Capcom made the first part of the crossover event between Monster Hunter: World and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt available in the game on PS4 and Xbox One. The trailer shows off interactions as Geralt explores this unusual new world, and also teases some of the gameplay players can anticipate in the single player crossover event. We will convey to you about the update as soon as possible.

"Contract: Trouble in the Ancient Forest" will have Geralt tracking down and defeating a powerful force that will be familiar to Witcher 3 players: the Leshen.

The available costume sets for the hunter are based on the main "Witcher" characters, Geralt and Siri. Capcom had quite the headstart in Hollywood with the success of the Resident Evil franchise and now it's moving onto Monster Hunter. There's also plenty of dialogue to engage in with other characters that will influence how the story unfolds.

The Monster Hunter: World x The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt collaboration is available on Xbox One and Playstation 4 now.

The rewards for completing both contracts are pretty nifty too: "Contract: Trouble in the Ancient Forest" will grant you resources for crafting Geralt's armour and weapon set, a new skin and weapon for your Palico companion, and new gestures, titles, and poses.

Another quest will go live on February 15, known as Woodland Spirit. As a professional monster slayer, Geralt is more than up to the task of a few Ratholos. We couldn't have done it, of course, without the close collaboration of CD Projekt Red. The festival brings back most of the game's prior event quests and some new ones. As for the content, players can expect a new Contract, and they can even play as Geralt himself complete with his abilities and silver sword!
