Bill Cosby’s spokesman says the comedian thinks prison is an ‘amazing experience’

Cosby is now serving a three-to-10-year sentence and is believed to have grown a beard while in prison.

In September, Cosby was sentenced to three to 10 years behind bars for drugging and sexually assaulting Andrea Constand at his home in 2004.

Cosby rose to fame in the 1960s as the first black actor to star in a prime-time television drama with the hit show I Spy. "She has not visited him". Not for justice, but for their political aspirations. But Wyatt says Mr. Cosby prefers it to receive little to no visitors.

The disgraced comedian is now serving three to ten years in a Philadelphia maximum security prison after being convicted last year for drugging and sexually assaulting his friend Andrea Constand in 2004.

In the NBC10 interview, Wyatt said Cosby has lost weight while behind bars. "He said they told him if he was going to continue to fight for civil rights, something like this was bound to happen, and he's been preparing for it and he knows he's in prison not for rape, but for infidelity", Wyatt told Washington Informer.

"He doesn't want people to try to exploit (Camille) and his daughters if they visit".

It was reported on Friday that Cosby had transferred to the general prison population, after spending his first four months in special housing.

Cosby does not have a cellmate and speaks to his wife Camille on the phone three times each day for three minutes at a time.

"He's mentally strong. He's just a strong man", Wyatt added.

After a stint in a single-cell unit, he was recently transferred to another unit, where he is able to interact with other inmates. Like all other general population inmates, Cosby must be accounted for in his cell seven times a day.
