Now, with the launch of the Galaxy S10-series, the South Korean giant has extended its partnership by offering buyers with complimentary access to the platform. Going forward, the Spotify app will be pre-installed on Samsung smartphones, making it available out of the box. As you might expect, it's only available to new Spotify users.

With Microsoft firmly out of the smart phone hardware game, it's been free to "trojan horse" and promote itself on to any partner devices it deems valuable and today, that partner happens to be Samsung. This includes music recommendations on the Bixby Home screen. And Spotify is announcing a major expansion of its partnership with Samsung to help S10 owners get more out of their devices.

For Samsung customers located in the United States, assuming they're eligible and have one of the supported devices, Spotify will give them free access to its Premium subscription for six months.
