Ask Democrats Whether or Not They Hate Jews

Trump told reporters on March 8 that Democrats have now become "an anti-Israel party, they've become an anti-Jewish party" after Omar-a Somalia-born Muslim-sparked fresh criticism for questioning why USA lawmakers support Israel. "In the midterm elections 82% of the two-party Jewish vote went to Democrats".

Speaking at a closed meeting with Republican Party donors over the weekend, US President Donald Trump bragged about how much he'd done for Israel, highlighting his controversial decision to recognise Jerusalem as its capital and relocate the US Embassy to the city, Axios reported.

Democrats wrestled for days over whether to call Omar out by name, what other types of bias, if any, should be decried in the resolution and whether the party would tolerate dissenting views on Israel.

Monday on CNN's "Newsroom", chief network White House correspondent Jim Acosta argued that President Donald Trump "really shouldn't be engaged" in "pushing people's buttons". Jackson asked one final time when Sanders opted to repeatedly attack Democrats instead of answer the question.

Sanders said on Monday she was unaware of any calls planned between Trump and Xi. "It shouldn't be put in a watered-down resolution", she responded. "We called it out by name, stripped him of his committee memberships and we'd like to see Democrats follow suit", Sanders said.

Bolton Downplays Threat of North Korean Missile Test
He said the Trump administration took it "very seriously" but cautioned against drawing any snap conclusions. The "ball is in their court", said Bolton, adding that Trump "is ready to make a deal".

While Democratic Florida Rep. Ted Deutch also lamented that the House resolution passed did not focus exclusively on anti-Semitism, he criticized Trump for attempting to make it a partisan issue despite his own campaign's trade in bigotry. She tried to compare Minnesota Democratic Congresswoman Ilhan Omar to Republican Steve King, lost his committee assignments as a result of racist statements, but Karl noted that the president himself "has not condemned" King.

When Sanders tried calling on another reporter, Acosta kept firing questions away, reminding the press secretary of when Trump said there were "fine people on both sides" following the Charlottesville protest where a white supremacist domestic terrorist plowed his auto into a crowd of people, killing one woman.

"We're getting into a situation when our friends and allies around the world that we depend upon are going to lack confidence in us", Cheney reportedly said to Pence, according to the Washington Post's transcript of the discussion.

While Sanders claims Democrats on the Hill are inadequately supportive of the Jewish community, a disproportionate number of members of Congress who are Jewish are also Democrats.
