Gmail, Google Drive experiencing service outages

Gmail: Attaching or accessing attachments, as well as accessing and saving draft emails and sending emails.

Google was experiencing global outages on Wednesday, with users reporting issues with Gmail, Google Drive and Google Maps.

There have also been reports of Google Drive being down.

The company says it is investigating the issue and will provide an update soon. When trying to send an e-mail, instead of delivering the message, users receive the notice "Message could not be sent. Check your network and try again", is the message that these users said comes while sending email. "Recent change might not have been saved".

Although the service still appears to be up for many users, the outage is widespread.

Down Detector's live outage map is showing that some of the worst hit countries at the present time include Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Japan and the United States.

The issues were not isolated to Gmail for some people.

Hopefully, Google will quickly solve this issue.
