Slack now has a dark mode for its Android and iOS apps

The dark mode is available for both iOS and Android users of the productivity app. What else would you like to see Slack offer in the iOS and Android apps in the future?

After you're in, you'll need to update the app in order to get into the beta program.

Some programs on Windows have their own dark modes which you can control on their own.

The dark mode feature is increasingly popular. It might also have a setting that can force dark mode to apps that do not have this style.

On dark mode, the individual pixels will do less work in dark areas.

You've got a few options when it comes to controlling dark mode in individual Apple apps for macOS too. You will notice that dark mode is applied to menus, pop-ups, and the headers. The Android app will require you to restart the app before you can allow the dark mode. Unfortunately, individual apps are under no obligation to follow the lead of Android, but some elements (like the quick settings pane) will turn darker.

Slack brings dark mode to its Android and iOS apps in the latest update

No wonder every company is eager to see it being sensible to people's concerns and is offering the same as part of the latest updates for several apps.

As yet, iOS doesn't have an official dark mode.

In the upper-right of the screen, look for the options button - it's the vertical stack of three dots.

Facebook Messenger just started testing out a dark mode for its mobiles app. You may have noticed it's hidden at the moment-hidden until you send someone, anyone a crescent emoji.

From the menu, tap on Settings. Once you have tried the new dark mode in Slack for yourself, we want to know what you think about it.

You can check out the installed version of it from here (if already installed). In fact, you can stay up all night working now. Yay. If you're using Slack beta then you can download the update from the Google Play Store or iTunes Store.
