Hill and Espinal have a 3-year-old son, but he is not specifically named in any reports.

The police report from the Overland Park Police Department, dated Thursday, March 14, and obtained by the Star, states that the victim of the alleged battery is a juvenile; Hill's fiancee, Crystal Espinal, is named as "others involved". Hill's name was listed on that report.

Kansas City Chiefs receiver Tyreek Hill is now under investigation for alleged battery.

A source familiar with the situation said Hill's fiancee has been in contact with Overland Park police.

Chiefs spokesman Ted Crews said Friday the team has been in contact with local authorities and the National Football League as it gathers more information but declined further comment.

Hill has not been charged with a crime, but is under investigation in the matter.

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill is under investigation by police, the team confirmed to the Kansas City Star on Friday.

Hill, 25, has a history of violence and abuse. He pleaded guilty to domestic assault and battery by strangulation in August 2015 and received three years probation. The team and the star receiver have been discussing a large contract extension that's expected to make him among the highest-paid players at his position.

Hill completed his probation in August, causing the domestic-abuse charges to be dismissed and his record to be expunged.
